Vertex Tech Hub publishes hands-on evaluations, practical comparisons, and decision-focused guides covering AI tools and software platforms. Our readers are people actively researching a tool before they commit to it, students evaluating a homework helper, creators comparing image generators, marketers assessing AI writing platforms, and business owners vetting productivity software. They are not browsing for entertainment. They want reliable information to support a real decision.
If you have direct experience with the tools you write about and can communicate that experience clearly and honestly, we are interested in working with you.
What We Are Looking For
Our strongest contributors are people who have actually used the software they cover, not people who have read other reviews and synthesized a position. That difference is usually visible in the writing: specific observations, noted limitations, genuine comparisons, and confident conclusions. We can tell the difference and our readers can too.
Contributors do not need formal technology credentials to write for Vertex Tech Hub. What they need is demonstrable first-hand experience with the tools they propose covering and the ability to write about that experience in plain, direct language.
Topics We Accept
AI Tool Reviews: In-depth, first-hand evaluations of AI platforms across any of our core coverage areas. Reviews must go beyond feature documentation to address real-world performance, pricing transparency, notable limitations, and a clear verdict on who the tool is best for.
Head-to-Head Comparisons: Direct comparisons of two tools competing for the same use case. Comparisons must reach a conclusion — we do not publish ‘it depends’ articles that leave readers without a recommendation.
Alternatives Roundups: Lists of tools that address the same need as a popular platform, with each alternative evaluated on its own merits rather than just listed. Roundups that are simply bulleted feature lists will not pass editorial review.
Buyer’s Guides: Category-level guides that help readers understand what to look for before evaluating specific tools. These work best when they emerge from a genuine question or decision point our readers commonly face.
Practical How-To Guides: Step-by-step guidance for using specific AI tools to accomplish a defined task. These must be based on direct use of the current version of the tool, not outdated documentation.
Tool Trend Analysis: Analysis of meaningful shifts in a tool category, a pricing model, or a capability set — grounded in specific platform behavior rather than general AI commentary.
What We Do Not Accept
- Generic AI tool roundups assembled from reading other reviews or product documentation without direct use.
- Articles generated primarily by AI without meaningful expert insight layered throughout. We screen submissions and will not publish AI-generated content.
- Content promoting a specific tool without acknowledging its limitations. Promotional articles disguised as reviews do not serve our readers.
- Articles on hardware, general consumer technology, gaming, or cryptocurrency that do not have a direct AI or software angle relevant to our readership.
- Duplicate content published elsewhere, including your own blog or newsletter.
- Anything submitted by or on behalf of a software vendor about their own product.
Content Standards
- Minimum 1,500 words. Most accepted reviews and comparisons run between 1,800 and 2,500 words.
- First-hand experience required. During pitch review we will ask specifically about your experience with the tool or tools you propose covering.
- Accuracy is non-negotiable. We verify feature claims, pricing, and technical assertions before publication. Outdated or inaccurate information will result in the article being returned or declined.
- Strong conclusion. Your article must reach a specific verdict: who should use this tool, who should not, and why.
- Clear, direct language. Write for someone who knows what they are looking for but is not necessarily a technical specialist.
- Formatting requirements: submit via Google Doc with edit access. Use H2 headings for major sections, H3 for subsections. Keep paragraphs to 3–4 sentences maximum.
Backlinks and Attribution
Accepted contributors may include up to two do-follow contextual backlinks per article. Links must point to pages relevant to the article topic. Homepages, service pages, and low-quality domains will be removed. Your author bio may include one link to your professional website, portfolio, or LinkedIn profile.
Our Editorial Process
Submit your pitch to info@vertextechhub.com with the subject line: Contributor Pitch — [Proposed Title]. Your pitch should include your proposed title and a 150–200 word summary of your angle and conclusion; a description of your direct experience with the tool or tools you plan to cover; two or three links to previously published writing demonstrating your ability and background; and your backlink requests.
We review pitches within 5 business days. Approved pitches receive a brief confirmation and any specific guidance on what we are looking for. Full article review after submission takes 7–10 business days. We provide specific feedback if revisions are requested. Articles that do not pass revision review are declined without further editorial rounds.
We do not pay contributor fees. Publication comes with a permanent byline, your author bio, up to two do-follow backlinks, and a link to the published piece for your portfolio.
